I love this time of year because camping season is back...in the desert. I do camp during the summer, but that means trips to the mountains of Southern Nevada or Utah to eacape the heat. Once October rolls around I can take advantage of those spots closer to home. I do also enjoy winter camping so I'll still be heading to the high country over the next few months. You just have to make sure you're prepared to brave the elements.
The last weekend of October we are heading out to a great spot near Nelsons Landing NV with a couple of friends. Looking forward to planting my OB flag at base camp for the first time since I got it.
