Everyone said it wasn't possible.

It isn't really advertised, but hopefully noone here will screw it up for us.

In Amelia Island, Northeast Florida, there is a beach called Peters Point.
You can Camp overnight, directly on the beach. There are seme fire/light issues with sea turtle season, but you can in fact camp there.

What are the driving conditions on the beach? 2wd? 4wd?

I actually spend two nights here in my RV last year.
Not the most beautiful beach in Florida but the water temperature is a +.

I recommend this beach as well.

I just moved to the area, I live 20 minutes from Peters Point. Great spot for sure! There are many other places you can drive on the beach in the general area, but Peters Point so far has been the best. As you round the last turn to get to the beach, there is a gas station that sells access passes. I believe you can have a fire during certain times of the year as well.
