As of today, in a nut sheel NFS has reduced restructions to allow camp fires in established camp gournds. Still not camp fires in the back country, but you can have stoves.

FYI.. It may be wet and green in one area of LPNF, but per discussion I had with "Ranger Rick", they look at the moisture content throughout the entire forest (250 miles long) and base thier fire restrictions on the lowest moisture content. So if it is wet enough in Big Sur to have a fire but too dry in Ojai area, the whole forest goes under the dry area restrictions that Ojai would need.
