Californian checking in from Hungary. Are there any OB members in out here? I was passed by a G Wagon on portal axles last night on the freeway, so I know there has to be an off road community out here:). Unimogs seem pretty prevalent too.

Welcome to Europe we are few and far between at the moment but numbers are growing. What brings you to our side of the pond? and where are you heading?

Just visiting my wife's side of the family. We're in a small town called Eger, about an hour outside of Budapest. The vast majority of vehicles around here are compact cars, but I do see an occasional 4x4. I ran across two Land Cruisers that were only two door models, we don't have those in the states. I feel like I need to do some OB recruiting here:)

Yes we have to do so. And welcome. Eger, the city were the Hungarians conquered (just once ) the Turks. A place all Hungarians like to go.
It has a fantastic swimming place.
And the castle/fortress is nice to see.
