Bay Area: My plan for this weekend was canceled so now I have a free 3 day weekend...

Itching to go somewhere - been wanting to check out BOWMAN LAKE - it's closed enough.

or I might just hit up BIG SUR etc.

Any cool spot to check out for a quick 2-3 day trip that's 3-4 hour drive?

Do Bowman and then continue on to Toll House, Meadow Lake, and White Rock. All in that area and within two hours of each other. Bowman is a solid 3.5-4 hours from the Bay Area (I’m in Livermore)

Also in Bay Area went to Bowman last weekend weather was perfect. I find Bowman a little too traveled so went to a nearby lake for the night.

Traveled to Cisco Grove, Signal Peak, Sterling Lake, Bowman, Weaver, back to SJ

This weekend will be more driving checking out henness pass road with a stop Downieville (saddleback lookout) night at Weaver back to hwy80 by Verdi
