Battery Box, Charging Station

I made a simple battery box addition to a deep cycle plastic container. I added a switchable charging station and battery meter so I can take the battery into the tent or elsewhere as a charging option. It was easy to do and if you already have a deep cycle and battery box, is an easy project...and cheap.

and made this, also using alligator clips:

I’m starting a similar project. Not w deep cycle marine batteries, but w some 12V 7AH batteries from my kids old electric bigwheel.
I like the idea of portable charging for electronics.
Figure I can do it for under $50.
