I’m taking my wife to visit her grandparents in Beaver Dam, Arizona. Grandma is 92 and not likely to want to do too much. But grandpa being a few years younger still likes to go play in the desert. I’ve been kind of looking at different places on google earth that are fairly close. I don’t think he knows a lot about the area as they’ve only been there a couple of years and has no 4 wheel drive vehicle. I found a trail/road that takes off from I-15 at the Utah border and heads south into an area called Black Rock. The road looks like it has 2 ways out. Elbow canyon or Limekiln canyon both close to Mesquite, Nevada. Does anyone have any info on this area? Is it traversable in a fairly stock rig? Any info would be appreciated. Thank you.
