Arizona Backcountry Discovery Route

Starting to plan for a trip to Expo West in May of '19 with at least a week long trip to the Grand Canyon NP area and maybe southern Utah afterward since we'll be in the area and found this route on ridebdr.com. Looks like it would be an interesting way to make our way to I-10 before heading back home to Louisiana. Has anyone run any of this in a 4x4 and, if so, what are your thoughts on the trip?
