Does anyone have any suggestions for brush/bull guard antenna mounting. I am certain that I want to mount the GMRS and 2M/70cm band radio antennas On the bumper. My bumper does not have any purpose built mounts and before I fab something, I was wondering if there are any universal mounts that attach to the tubing?

Will the antennas be above the line of the hood? If not your coverage to the rear will be impaired significantly.

Good, they’ll work much better that way. As far as mounts go, you might be hard pressed. Most f the universal mounts are geared toward the mirrors on semi rigs.

Here's one but the tube clamps are sold separately.

With a brush guard mount you might be better off going with a 1/2 wave antenna as they are not ground dependent. Obviously you can't get a dual band antenna that is a 1/2 wave on both bands, I would probably look at a dual band antenna that is 1/2 wave on 2m.

Rugged Ridge makes a tube CB antenna mount but it's not close to being wide enough for an NMO mount.

As much as I hate to recommend them, RuggedRadios also makes a nice tube mount but it's as expensive (or more) than most ham or gmrs antennas.
