I finally got my tent after amazon lost the last one in transit so we threw it on the Maximus 3 Rhino Rack Pioneer Platform. It’s the basic Smittybilt tent and for 700 bucks after shipping and tax you can’t beat it. We haven’t slept in it yet but it felt more comfortable than any ground tent I’ve ever been in.

Mounting it took an hour and a half. I measured out the distance of the outer slats in the pioneer platform and drilled new holes on the tent and sealed the pre-drilled ones up with silicone. I used the small metal bracket on each corner of the tent to put two bolts on each one with a total of 8 bolts holding it down. The bolts are a bit long so i had to use three washers as the pioneer platform slays are shallow. I’ll post some pictures of the hardware i used when i get home.
