The below posts were split off from the Coffee Setup thread - Steve

How many real coffee cups do you get out of that? I have one of the REI branded ones, 32 oz I think, and it is really only good for 2 real mugs of coffee.

I came across this at Amazon. Haven't pulled the trigger yet though.

That image/link appears broken. Is it me, or is it my company's firewall?

That's an old problem that @Michael hasn't been able to fix since switching to the XenFolo forum software. Whenever someone posts a link to Amazon, it automatically changes it to a media link with a preview. It doesn't show up using Safari for most people, either on Mac OS, or iOS.

To view the link, you have to quote the post in question, and in the quoted text, copy the Amazon item number. Then open another window, go to Amazon, and paste in the item number.

Whenever I post an Amazon link, I use a link shortening tool so that the XenFolo software doesn't convert it to a media link.

I hope that helps,
Steve

My mistake before. The Amazon media link *does* work on Safari on my iPad. It doesn't work on the Overland Bound App on my iPad.

It does *not* work on Safari on my desktop Mac at home, nor on Safari on my Mac laptop. It just leaves a large blank space where the image would normally be as seen here:

This isn't new, as it has been like this since switching to XenFolo. If I see someone posting an Amazon link and I have time, I'll go through the routine of replying to get the Amazon item number, paste it into Amazon's we page, get a shortened URL, and then edit and paste it into the original post as an edit. I just did that earlier today in a different thread.

Wow, the issue here looks like it will be very hard to track down it is so intermittent. I will continue to update the parse add-on in the event its the plugin.

Now that's odd. It works fine on my mac laptop at home, Safari v10.0.1:

FYI, I also tried Chrome and Firefox, and all worked as expected. Maybe an ad-blocker issue? Unfortunately, I can't use my laptop at work, so testing if its a firewall issue is out. Thanks for looking into this, though.
