6 Days, 2 People East Coast Trip

As far as traveling, I’ve been all over the US but camping wise I’ve stayed in Florida. From Dec. 27 til the 2nd of Jan. we will be out in North Carolina. If anyone has any suggestions for sightseeing/hiking/parks/drives around that area please let me know.

From then on for 6 days we will be exploring either the NE or somewhere in Central US depending on the weather. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know as well. Though my taco is outfitted, it is (unfortunately and very soon will not be) a 2WD, so any advice about winter overlanding with a 2WD is HIGHLY appreciated.

If you’re heading north from NC, I’d recommend heading to Shenandoah National Park. Plenty to see, hike, explore and wheel. I’d recommend the Outer Banks in NC, but they may only allow 4X4’s on the beach. Cool place though even if you can’t drive on the beach. Sounds like a fun trip!
