Wired up a dual battery to power the newly acquired Dometic fridge, and boy, what a game changer. Odyssey 45AH AGM battery, which can safely cycle 80%, giving a usable ~33AH. American Adventure Labs has a great mounting solution for the unused storage space under the rear cargo area.

Ran 6GA AWG wire with 40 AMP fuses to a Renogy 20A DCDC charger. Being that I only run the fridge off this setup, I haven't added a fuse box, but probably will in the future. Much like the Redarc 1225, the Renogy requires an ignition wire, which I ran to the rear 12V cargo plug. On the JL, you can swap the fuse position one slot to the left (or right) to change the rear 12V from ignition to always hot. This is how it looks all buttoned up.

And, with the fridge in place. It can be ran on either side, the 12V cord supplied by Dometic is long enough to reach the Dometic wiring kit, which I installed on the rear sub housing. It fits perfectly between the rear seat and the sub and looks
almost factory.

The other thing I installed was a magnetic mic holder. Seeing as my CB is mounted in the centre console, I wanted to avoid any hanging mics and I didn't want to have to look down to clip the mic on. Mounted it under the latch to the centre console (offset to avoid the mic getting in the way of opening). This magnetic is incredibly strong, it didn't fall off over many many hundreds of kilometers on washboard roads. Honestly, the perfect solution.
