I am looking forward to this transformation. My plan is to build my newly acquired T4R into a weekend adventure rig. I live in Maine and have hundreds of miles and POIs marked on my Delorme that I want to check out. I have broken my build down into three phases to spread out the cost and hopefully make the process a little easier on the wallet and make good decisions for each phase.
My desired outcome is to have a rig that is capable and comfortable on gravel main logging roads and be able to get offroad to access remote sites that often time consist of rock, mud, snow and occasional downed trees along the way. Not looking to build a crawler or mudder but want to be able to get to where I wanna go.
Phase 1 is going to focus on suspension, tires and wheels and exhaust.
Phase 2 lighting, roof rack,
and armor,
Phase 3 probably wont get completed until next spring but will be RTT front bumper and winch compressor and other things that I discover over the summer.
