Hey guys! It’s been awhile since I’ve posted. I used to have a 95 k1500 on 33s then sold it for a challenger which I trade in for a brand new 4runner that my wife now daily drives. I’ve been in the market for another truck for a little now. I couldn’t decide if I wanted to get the brand new Chevy Silverado Trail Boss or get another older truck and save up so I don’t have to take out a big auto loan. I finally decided this past week to purchase a 2005 Tundra with 220k miles that was for sale here in N.C. for $7200 and got the guy down to $6500. Originally from Jersey, I couldn’t believe how rust free it was. The engine and trans ran unbelievably smooth and the cap, method wheels, and BFG all terrains didn’t hurt either. This guy was not too familiar with the suspension components, he just bought it as was from a mechanic over 20k miles ago. But after checking it out for myself it seems to have bilstein leveling struts with about 35in tires. Of course it’s an older lofted truck so it’s got some kinks to work out including some wobble (nothing major), breaks could use some work (drum breaks in the rear are probably going to have to be redone), the master window switch needs to be replaced, etc. overall I’m very optimistic about this truck and I think I’ll really have some good adventures in it. I don’t see any major issues occurring in the next couple years I plan on using it as my daily.

Let me know what you guys think as well. Thank You!

Nice truck!! Honestly those first gen V8s run forever so you should get a ton of use out of it. Yours looks super clean for the mileage, too. Any upgrades since this post? I have an ‘03
