Hey everyone! I've been on the forum for a couple of weeks now and I didn't even notice this thread haha
Location: Inwood Ontario, Canada
Rig: 1997 Jeep TJ Sport and I've named my build OutlawTJ. As of right now it has a 4" lift and 33s and I'm hoping to upgrade my suspension parts as well as...
That's perfect for my situation. I have a lift on my Jeep but not very much experience with any serious wheeling. I'm liking the idea more and more

Well here's my rig! It's a 1997 Jeep TJ with a 4" Rough Country short arm lift rolling on 33s. I have a custom complete terrain front bumper right now and looking at going to an ARB stubby bumper with a grill guard. This is just the start of my build lol. Lots more to come!

Hey it doesn't matter what you drive or how much you modify it, as long as it gets you where you need to go and you can have fun exploring that's all that matters!

Honestly it all comes down to your preference. The most common would be automatic. But me personally I like to challenge myself with clutch control as well as paying attention to where my tires are and my line etc. automatics are generally easier. But I love my 5 speed TJ. It's all up to you...
Welcome to the forum! I can't wait to see some pics of your rig I love those old CJs! And also I'm glad to see a brother firefighter on the forum! Happy adventures!
Thanks,

Well this just shows how some people with a lot of money care so little about the environment, all they care about is themselves

Oh shoot I forgot to give the specs on my rig lol, it has a 4" lift rolling on 33" tires. It has the 4.0L straight six and the AX-15 5 speed manual transmission. It currently has the D30 and D35 axles and I'm looking for some junkyard/cheap D44 front and rears to build and do an axle swap...
Hey everyone I just joined today, I drive a 1997 Jeep TJ Sport and I'm slowly but surely building it for my overland adventures! I work on a pig farm and I'm a volunteer firefighter. I'm an avid hunter and I love the great outdoors, I'm excited to be a part of this awesome community!
