I have zroads light mount on top of my rig and if their racks are anything like the light might then it will be strong and rugged.

Bluetti EB150 with a dc to dc charger and some solar panels, it will give you all the power you need.

When it came to power for me I just spent some money upfront and went with a bluetti eb150 solar generator, it last forever and worked great across my trip through Colorado and Utah offroading, I used a victron dc to dc charger wired into the truck to charge while I drive and offroad.

I run a smittybilt x20 with synthetic rope that I got for 600 and it has been great so far.

I use a smittybilt winch and love it, have had them for a few other rigs.

I use a 589 Fab spare tire mount with tie down to put it in my Diesel ZR2 and it keeps it standing to limit the amount of room it takes up. Works great.

I am looking to find the best bang for buck off-road overland trailer, any ideas?

I drive a 2019 colorado diesel, highly modified, not afraid one bit to cross a mountain or Ford a stream. But you are right many are afraid. I try to be as far off grid as possible. My recent overland trip across the rockies by means of offroad was a good test of that.

Does make it fun.

I have a saying that I often repeat to myself, You can not have butterfly conversations with caterpillar people. That is how I deal with people lacking the understanding of why we do what we do.

I have never been a situation where I didn't have the tools and knowledge to overcome the problem, however anything is possible.
