My Izzy is only about 1 1/2 years old so I haven’t been on any long trips but I take her out on hikes locally quite often. She has tons of energy and is all go and no quit. She rides in the truck and Jeep quite well though so I hope to get her on a several day trip soon.

I like the new Rangers alot. If I didn't need a full size truck, it would be on my short list (only 2 of them I like so a really short list) of mid-size trucks for sure. It should be an interesting segment to watch the next couple years with seemingly so many trucks now.

I used to live in Polk City close to Ankeny but now I am south of Des Moines about 30 minutes outside of St. Charles in Madison County. Just far enough outside where I am close to DSM but far enough I see lots and lots of stars. :sunglasses: Madison County in general is a great area. Get out...

Replaced worn old Rubicon Express suspension with Currie 4" springs, Metalcloak adjustable control arms and Bilstein 5100 shocks and all is new again and rides great. However, in replacing the suspension I noticed a spot or two of rust in my frame I will have to address and decide what the next...

I try to do as much as possible so I can learn about my Jeep but I am definitely not a mechanic. I completely changed out my suspension twice on my own since I've had it and never touched anything like that before I got it so I am comfortable with that mostly. Lots of research and YouTube help...
