I think you are right. Besides, looking at how high the Outback hatch raises, you'd have to mount any foxwing absurdly high to get it to clear. There goes that idea.

I'm curious if anyone here has done a foxwing off an Outback or Forester? I've been kicking the idea around but I'm not sure if he hatch height when open would interfere with it. Seems like it would provide more coverage without the extra length.

Got out on dirt for the first time in the Outback this weekend. It's interesting how different the OB feels from the Forester XT.

I have the same one and really like it. I like that the roll top stays attached to the frame and that it packs down to about the size of a long camp chair. I don't even have to throw it in the basket as it fits width wise in the back of the Forester. Sent from my iPhone using OB Talk
