I think you are right. Besides, looking at how high the Outback hatch raises, you'd have to mount any foxwing absurdly high to get it to clear. There goes that idea.
I was thinking the Foxwing Eco 2.1, comes in right around 2000 mm in length.

I'm curious if anyone here has done a foxwing off an Outback or Forester? I've been kicking the idea around but I'm not sure if he hatch height when open would interfere with it.
Seems like it would provide more coverage without the extra length.
Thanks! We've driven the length of it several times in the Forester. Now with the Outback we have an excuse to do it again. [emoji23]

Thoughts on the bumper lights? (The red ringed ones) I've been kicking around the idea of getting some. I just put 4 Hella 500FF's on a rally innovations bar and I'm not all that impressed with the increase in visibility.
Thanks!

Learned that a crowd of people is a crowd no matter where you go. The camping situation is pretty brutal if you're not with a big group. Learned a teardrop is not going to work for us, and learned I never pack enough whiskey. [emoji23]

I have the same one and really like it. I like that the roll top stays attached to the frame and that it packs down to about the size of a long camp chair.
I don't even have to throw it in the basket as it fits width wise in the back of the Forester.
