Hi Augydogy, Sorry, but I just sold this today & I hadn't had a chance to remove the post, yet.

The back seat has to be completely removed and Goosegear recommends also removing the seat belt. The Gear itself is attached and bolted through the holes in which the seats are held.

Thanks for the ideas... we'll be traveling the US full-time soon (hopefully we won't have to worry about bribery spots, but who knows...) and noting laundry & nearby gas/grocery/supplies would be good. Just in case you have to turn around for something...like beer/wine.
