I have to disagree with one thing he said, and that is that a 270 degree awning is not great if you are going to leave your rig in one position the whole trip.
When I used my Eezi-Awn Bat 270 awning at Mount Rainier last August, I did not move the rig, and I had very good protection from the sun...

I would like to get $150 for it, and it is in perfect shape.

I am located in Auburn, WA.
Also if you plan on attending the new meetup at ARB Headquarters in Auburn, I can bring it and set it up...
I have gone with a few 100 watt solar panels, and I just upgraded yesterday.
I have upgraded again, I took possession of the Overland Solar 120 watt folding one yesterday.
Owner Brian drove to my home and hand delivered it too, as he was on this side of the mountains, very cool.
He dropped by...
I hope this is the right section, I will leave a link in the notice for this event too.
WOW, a lotta nice rigs showed up today including a turbocharged diesel VW bus that was kitted out nicely.
ARB had their Tacoma there too with a X1 trailer, and some swag including a key chain that was shaped...
After we got back from vacation up at Mount Rainier National Park the second week of August, I began the hunt for a smaller/lighter chuckbox.
I did not rally care for the other wooden offerings on the market, and I was going to pull the expensive trigger on the Kanz Kitchen, but he is pretty...
On all of the other sites I am on where I have had a camping gear thread since 2008 or so, I was only able to post my whole review today on my forum, as we do not have a text/picture limit set, so I do not want to chance it here.
It was like over 40K characters or so.
I had to break it down into...
Yeah, I bring a lot, as I near senior citizenship, I tend to bring more :D
Plus I have a lot of new gear this year I am going to try out, so no doubt I will weed back a bit next time.
And that chuckbox takes up a lotta room, I am thinking about getting a custom one built over the winter that is...
This is posted in my buildup thread, but I am posting it here too in case no one saw it yet.
I use to run the ArkPak battery generator when camping to power up my string of old school Goal Zero 3 watt LED lanterns I hung on the Campinglab awning, and also to charge back up flashlight and camera...
After seeing Michael's video on YouTube last year, I bought the GB40 last week.
Now I do run a dual battery system undeer the hood, and a triple system when camping as I have an ArkPak with a big AGM battery in it to power and charge stuff.
I bought this mainly as a backup, and to jump others if...
At work eating breakfast before I start my day doing some channel surfing, and I ran across this one typing in Overlanding.
I think this video about sums it up.
Is the creator of the video a member here?
I have also been watching this guy, his dog, and his FJ Cruisers videos for the past few...
Will get to the Aluboxes in a bit, but the ECS cases are what I have been using for camping since 2010.
http://www.ecscase.com/
I like them as they stack like Legos, no matter what size case you use, they will interlock with each other.
The two in this first pic are their big footlockers, I...
New fridge on the market, this was in my YouTube feed over the weekend from a channel I subscribe too.
They make a lot of stuff under the KickAss brand such as solar panels, camping lights, and dual battery kits that you do not have to put under the hood.
This fridge however is 220v or 12v, but...
I have been seeing pics of this new overlanding kitchen pop on Facebook as of late, and it looks most awesome.
http://scoutequipment.co/products/scout-overland-kitchen
I have an inquiry on the single module which has the stove top part, sink, food storage, and cutlery storage.
Not sure if the...
I subscribe to their channel and have watched all of their trip videos from the past few years.
They should have some new trip videos later, but they just started up a new series today with how to tips.
Here are the five from today.

You can get new adhesive disks in our store here: New Emblem Adhesive...
I put up a few pics in another thread, but since I just joined here last week, I will put up future mods into this thread too.
I do have my build cloned on four other sites I am on, and I will put up a link to my forum I started back in 2002 with my build there which was just updated Saturday...
