But to update: those tracks exist, found them in literature and Google Maps.
But as nearly most things in the UAE by now, it's double fenced in. Shame.

Has anybody been to the prehistoric elephant tracks in the Abu Dhabi desert south of Ruwais, UAE? From satellite images it seems the tracks and the wider area around it is fenced in, but maybe someone has some intel?
Friends went many years ago, annoyingly I didn't join and now it seems...
