I just came through highway 130 over the Snowies on Monday and the snow is still pretty deep. Virtually all side roads still sitting with a few feet of snowpack.

Same here in Pine Bluffs. My son and friends are still snowmobiling in the Snowys. The base is still 6-8 feet on the highway. The SNOTEL site is a great place to take a look at snow levels and there are a few in the snowy range that you can check.

Record snow. You won't get anywhere up there until late June depending on the weather. They don't even open the highway until the end on May.

Wonder what the other 18 rigs are going to be? I wasn't sure if this was going to be a trip dominated by Jeeps or Eathrroamers or Land Rovers.

Vance.....I'm in Pine Bluffs - south east corner. Planning on trailering my truck down as an insurance policy in case something unforeseen happens. We have a trip to the DR that leaves Denver immediately after this trip and having another rig down there hedges my bets. The truck I'm taking on...
