I own a 2016 Canyon with that little duramax engine, it is still in the evolution process but a good base for overlanding, range is great, low end power is great. Since I am high centered I had custom skid plates done by a friend (3/16 steel full width of frame), now its fun to slide on rocks...

Last November i got a 2016 SLE All Terrain with tow package, its a capable truck for the size, i live in Quebec so winters are tough, it starts no problem by -30F, really impressed by it. we will see this summer how it handles dirt and tight trails
