I don't think that you'll enjoy the rocks. Granted, I'm not familiar with your rig, and it may well be capable, but I wouldn't think you'd have the clearance. However, if you do decide to go, let me know for real. I live close by, and will be glad to come along if I can.
Here's the list of places to get passes from the website. The closest to the trail is Craig Mountain Farms store, which is directly across the street from the access road for the trail. I spoke to the lady that runs the store yesterday. She said they are open Wednesday through Sunday, and...
That store keeps weird hours. Would be a good idea to confirm they will be open. The general store in Colletsville also sells passes, and they are open every day
On Veteran's Day, 2017, I grenaded the rear diff at Uwharrie OHV. I had it replaced with a factory 3rd member for a short time, then a rebuilt one from East Coast Gear Supply.
Just before Appalachian Toyota Round-up 2017 I swapped out the Rough Country 6" lift for OME Heavy. I swapped the 35s for 285/75/17s. Swapped the ASFIR 4x4 skids for Budbuilt skids and sliders. Swapped the factory roof rack with the BajaRack Utility rack.
Rather than replace the factory bumper, I went with a custom swingout from Budbuilt. Also replaced the black plastic trim with diamond plate from Warrior Products.
