No need to be concerned, but definitely get those all terrains for the possibility of snow! I'm a little baby when I hit dirt far away from home. The dirt roads in the WMA are super nice. There are some roads off there that say "4wd high clearance." Just don't turn down those. I did because I...

sorry i keep posting and should just post one long post. Agree with the Tetons. I was going to spend more time in Yellowstone, but i couldn't get enough of looking at the Tetons. Ditto on these. Devil's tower is crazy cool. Badlands are amazing. There is free camping just outside of the Badlands on the north side that is awesome. The road closed sign was up back in March or whenever they first closed it, but I heard people have been stealing/moving the signs. Unfortunate

    You're stuck. What now?

For someone who does wheel alone, has gotten stuck, and who has made the choice to hike out, literally everything everyone on this thread is really great and solid advice. 1. Don't be afraid to wheel alone, but my first advice is to be comfortable with the outdoors if you are going to do that...

Any interest in a Northern Georgia meetup?

I'm interested! Located in Atlanta but drive through Cumming every weekend. FYI I am a novice, so I understand if you all would rather more experienced drivers. Also, I am going to Overland Expo, but won't be there until that Saturday [emoji25]
