Medano Pass in late October
I did this last October in my 1991 suburban and it was an excellent route. We camped on the east side and it was pretty chilly when we got up that morning to start the pass. But it warmed up to 60’s that afternoon in GSD NP. A stock 1/2 ton pickup could do the trail with a decently skilled driver.- Elliott10

Colorado from the east
Just returned home from a trip to Colorado with my 2 older kids (7 and 6). Came over Madano pass into sand dunes np. Camped at the falls above the park that night. Left and went up through Creede following the Rio Grande. Camped near the Hermit lakes. Went up and over Carson rd, holy crap that...- Elliott10

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?
Finally built the sleep platform. I’ve been staring at the drawer slides for a year. Still have to carpet it and anchor it but I’m beyond happy with how the size turned out.- Elliott10
