if you have steering wheel play / dead spot check the u joint in the steering shaft. That u joint can wear out and get some play in it.

My vote is alone or alone with the Honey. Less drama, less coordination needed. Yes you need to be more cautious and be more prepared but the trade offs are worth it.

Sounds like she is going to the same camporee our kids are going to. Same time frame. Going to be thousands of people there if not 10s of thousands. Thanks for the suggestions will add them to the list. The "lots of nothing" is one of the major reasons I am looking forward to this trip also.
