That's right...no frame rub! You will likely need to trim or roll your fenders back slightly to clear the tires when turning.

It handles just fine without it. It's definitely noticeable, especially when loaded with gear, but not so bad that I feel unsafe driving at freeway speeds. Much better offroad handling though so I think it's a no brainer.

I should be able to help out. I have the 4th through 7th off so I can get there early. Something else we need to consider is a backup plan for Saturday if the large camp at the lake is already taken, which it frequently is. We were incredibly lucky last year.

We saved Thursday to go visit Dead Horse Point State Park and Canyonlands National Park. Of course, it was the one day with overcast and rain. The views were still amazing and I plan to go back when I can spend more time (Shafer Trail, White Rim Road, etc.).
On Tuesday, we took a day off from the trails and booked a jet boat ride up the Colorado River. We had a great driver that made certain that we didn't stay too warm or dry. Totally worth it!
