    Yeah…. it bounces left then right (roll) about the coupler axis because the axle is not allowed to flex. The whole point of a suspension is to soak up the bumps.

    The trailing arms (air bags) need a heim joint to allow for better flex. The current bushings bind when one side of the axle droops and the other side rises. My offroad version has not yet failed due to binding…. may prove to be a non-issue. Overall it’s a really nice unit. Canvas sucks...

    Perhaps something like this would work - something that folds into a chair. Looks like a trip to a local upholstery shop is in order. A larger mattress could (?) be cut into two smaller, custom sized widths in the 60:40 style.

    Newbie here... First State Overland shows a 60:40 split mattress in his 5x8 Hiker - it looks great. Can anybody offer the name/model of this mattress? Is it custom made? I am about to place an order for a similar Hiker... any Hiker 5x8 owners out there that can tell me the interior...
