Innovation and thinking outside the box go hand in hand, that being said! I thought about this idea of a spare tire trash bag or jeep backpack for quite some time. Since I'm a tight wad and want things that have meaning or history behind them, I concieved this idea. It is a vintage Forest...
I would just use a telescopic pole for the middle. I use a painters pole with a cloth to dampen the end. Yes you have the pole in the middle to walk around but placing on or to the side of your table avoids that, then you can attach lights to the pole or paper towels, etc

Thank you, I was able to record a track today. I'm not sure which is better or not still. I will play around with Gaia some more, I'm just having a hard time justifying the money they want on a yearly basis. Time will tell

I guess I'm still trying to figure out EXACTLY how this works. I wanted to track my route but couldn't quite do it. Maybe it is just a show and tell style with only adding waypoints? If anyone had any idea how this thing works let me know or maybe I should scrap it for Gaia GPS????

I'm going 100 watt solar panel to 10 amp charge controller to the battery with a cigarette adapter into a Shumacher power station to charge. I bought two of the power station so I can swap them out. The versatility of the power station with built in inverter was the right choice for my needs. I...
Finally got the rack and awning installed. Mocking up how the solar panel will mount and flip up. I do know I will be placing the panel in the front and do not want to drill holes through the roof. Anyone have any suggestions, that would be super awesome.

I have been looking at this idea for awhile and my solution is the Surplus Green Army duffle bag. My years in the military have proved this bag to hold up through thick and thin. You do need to do a bottom strap attachment with a strong bungee cord or ratchet strap. From 5 to 20 bucks at any...
I chose 4x8 because it fits nicely behind the Jeep with no wind resistance and fits the Jeep trails. If your a big guy like me and your partner is small then it's snuggle up time. It all depends on what you want. Either way it's quite comfortable :)

I didn't actually get around to shooting a walk around video yet. My trailer is a Coleman Columbia tent trailer frame. I resized and reinforced the frame and flipped the axle. The top is 5 sheets of plywood to make the 4x8 box. The bottom and walls are 3/4" while the top is 1/2 inch. Basically...
I pack my cast iron pan everywhere but keep it wrapped up in a towel. Love, love cooking with cast iron.

Found this and was wondering if anyone has used this style. I'm interested but worried about load distribution.
