Up here in Ontario, we have almost no fossil fuel generation facilities anymore. For a population of 15 million people, we have one gas plant, no coal. 60% of our power is nuclear, with most of the rest by hydroelectric, and a small amount of wind and solar.
The design is one of those love it or hate it types. Count me in the latter group! $40k for the 2WD, then add on $10k per motor to get each additional up to 3. But, how does that work? One for the front and two for each rear? Then add $7k for self-driving. Thx, but I'll stick to my Tacoma.

I learned to read topo maps back in my days as a Scout. Now I'm a Scouter and would like to bring in orienteering as a skill to develop in our troop. So thanks to the OP for bringing this up. My map stash is too big to carry, but it's almost all road maps. I was an avid long-distance...

A minivan OL rig? Awesome. Our Honda Odyssey is a great rig for travel, but needs more ground clearance. If you can work that out, then you'll be better off on the unimproved roads.
I just installed the iOverlander app on my phone and was pleased to see it populated with some hidden gems not far from myself in Ottawa. If people could add places they find, it would probably be appreciated. Even if not overlanding, but just need a spot to take a break, they're good to have in...
Had mine sitting for a little while, so it seems, and finally got around to permanentizing it on this sunny, first day of summer! I miss the Trail Rated badge my old Jeep Patriot had, so that's where it goes on the Taco. It just looks like the right spot to me. I love the weighty heft this...
