How do you determine your tire pressure for your AT or MT tires on your trailers? I am currently running General Grabber LT235-75R15 tires, Load Range C, Load Index 104/101S, 50psi max inflation, with 1985 lbs max load. My calculations are showing a recommended pressure of 18psi which seems...
My goal is to have 2 batteries (Battle Born 100aH LifePO4), shore power (NOCO GEN 2 20amp charger), Solar and 12V DC to DC charger (REDARC BCDC1225), inverter (Xantrex 2000) and a fuse box to have wiring run to various areas of the trailer. I've looked at multiple pictures of setups here on the...
I replaced the hubs with a set of Dexter replacements and bought a 3rd as a spare to have for trail repairs. The hubs from the factory had too much play due to the cotter pin not engaging the castle nut properly. A 1” ID washer from the local trailer supply company spaced the castle nut out so...
After doing a little research I found out the trailer has a 2200lb torsion axle with 3500lb idler hubs. Here are the specs for the hubs for anyone else with a Manley ORV.
Specs:
Application: 3,500-lb axles with #84 spindles
Wheel size: 13" to 15"
Bolt pattern: 5 on 4-1/2"
Wheel stud...
I used the trailer to get mulch today and loaded 20 bags and 4 bags of topsoil on each trip. I broke a wheel stud on 1 of the trips. I got home and jacked up the trailer and the hub had 3/8in of play. I will pull the hub to get part numbers off the bearings tonight.
I’m slowly gathering everything to complete the electrical in the tongue box. Today the Xantrex Prowatt S.W. 2000 came in and I was able to test fit it. It will only be able to be mounted sideways. I might need a bigger tongue box.
I went with multiple Battle Born batteries 100ah due to their literature saying 3000-5000 cycles(approximately 75-80% of the battery capacity will remain after 3000 cycles) and their 10 year warranty. They have a page showing the math and it comes down to .35 cents / lifetime amp-hour for...
