I am interested, but down near Philadelphia, I don't think I could make the trip. If I could find out how much it would cost to ship and sent you a fed ex label, would you be willing to send it?
My 2 cents, either are fine vehicles and if you are smart about modifications, you will have no problems. Both vehicles offer off-road goodies like lockers, so buy those packages. Trust me, you want to keep the vehicle as OEM as possible.
I had Mopars for majority of my life. My TJ for 17...
Cape Henlopen State Park. Its right off the beach and has trees and coverage so it breaks up the wind. Also provides good shade. Seashore park does not have any coverage. Plus, you can have a campfire at Henlopen State Park.
SR5 or Offroad depending on if you want the extra controls of the off-road. It depends on where you want to go. Unless you are leaving the PRO stock, it is not worth the money to me. If you do any lift to it, you have basically thrown out what made it special. I had a 2018 Offroad Premium...
Not sure if you went on your trip yet, but Trap Pond State Park is suppose to be nice from what I hear. Another place on the to do list is First Landing State park in Virginia. Its right across the Bay Bridge Tunnel on the VA Beach side.
Very true. I should just bit the bullet and pray for a quick turn around.
Please let us know how that rear bumper looks. I have been back and forth on it. I love the idea of a tail gate. It looks pretty customizable on the left side as far a what your storing out there.
Your build looks great.. A lot of great design choices. Very jealous of the front bumper. I keep going to pull the trigger, but the website always says out of stock. The idea of waiting almost half a year scares me...
Hello folks, checking in from West Grove, PA in the corner of DE,MD, and PA. Curious where folks are going out around here since most of my old hiding places are now neighborhoods or commercial buildings.
Just renewed my surf fishing pass for Delaware so maybe see some of you on the beach...
I carried a Fiskars axe with plastic handle and a Lowes spade shovel on the front of my Jeep for years and never had a problem with either. If i used the shovel, it would get some surface rust, but a quick grinding and some krylon, and it is good to go. The Fiskars axe is surprisingly durable...
I love mine.... sits in a pouch on the rack in the back of the 4Runner, use it, and charge it quick on the inverter and forget about it until needed again. Beats having to run a second battery.
I also have the 10a charger I am about to install. That way I can plug in the rig and let it...
Yeah our company made the switch in the 70’s to Yellow when “red was on its way out”...
The yellow does make it easier to find my truck on scene at 4am. Lol
I would love to start. Lift, rack(s), awning, snorkel, compressor, Switch pro, and lights have been sitting in the garage for months. Need to find time and get my OCD in check so I can decide on some UCA’s and get it ready for the spring.
Good luck next week in “The Big Game”....
