    Update your old (or new) Garmin GPS devices for free!

    Check local thrift stores too. Just picked up a well preserved Nuvi 2450LM for whooping $8!! Lifetime map updates and traffic info! Will still try the topo maps one of these days. Open Street Maps has better coverage for some forest roads.

    APRS via Satellite

    Make sure you you go to the menu and Update Keps from amsat.org. I can see ISS, NO-84 and AISat 1. Don't see PSat2 on the AMSAT pass prediction page either, so that might be why it's not on the list. Predictions match predictions from amsat.org.

    Great information, thanks. Will need to try that sometime. There is an app AmsatDroid that calculates passes when you are offline. Has all the amateur satellites as well as ISS.
