The wheel base width was a concern for me because I usually tow behind a Jeep TJ. If I remember correctly its 7" wider than the Jeep.

I did this run to Inuvik about 15 years ago in a doge shadow. Beautiful scenery. Make sure your spare(s) tire is in good shape the big gravel road just shreds tires. Eagle plains has a tire shop but limited stock.

I did it last year from Barrie to Ashville. It was on thanksgiving weekend, so we had an extra day on Monday. I left 4pm on Thursday. I didn't take the interstate, went smaller highways with a teardrop trailer. About 14 hours each way. Google lies!
