    1984 Ford Bronco Project

10.25" is not in reference to the ratio. It's the size of the ring gear diameter the sterling axle that came in the rear of OBS F-2/350s.

    The ATPT conversion

yeah that's the Ford part no. Looks like the model no. trans you have is the 4r75e. They are typically fine in the half-ton applications, but can be beefed up considerably.

    The ATPT conversion

Is it the 6R100 torqshift trans in those later vans?

    2007 F-150 questions

Cam Phasers have been a black eye for the 3V 5.4L, but otherwise are a pretty solid motor. They're no 5.0 by any means, but still pretty good. I think what a lot of people have run into is that when/if the cam phaser issue rears its head, it's usually at a higher mileage point to justify...

    2015 F150 Offroad - Just add dirt

Can't go wrong with an F150 in my book. I think Matt L's truck is a perfect example of a clean and functional build for a full-size truck. I've had mine for going on six years and my brother has the 2017 Platinum edition. From what I've seen, the newer the truck the more capable they are...

    F250 with Palomino Pop-Up Build

I work for an OEM, and I would say your best bet is contacting palomino directly at their site under contact us. They should have some sort of parts/service inquiry portal. Only downside to that sort of option is usually the cost of the part(s). Awesome truck! Love the super duty trucks.

    2013 f150 What next?

Usually you can clear a 35" on a 2-2.5" level if you stick with a narrower wheel with around the same backspacing as the stock rims. That said, I don't know if folks that have done this still experience rubbing. Personally, I stuck with a tire that's just over 33''.

    15 Silverado very High Country

Looks like such an amazing trip. I'm hoping to do the Alipine loop one of these days in my truck.

    Tenchi's FX4 Overland Build

Great truck! I know warn made a hidden winch mount for the 04-05 trucks, but don't know if they still have them. Might be worth a search.

    2013 F150 FX4 (Big Blue)

I've seen people go with 35s with that amount of lift, but 33s on those wheels should be sufficient. I run 33 inch BFG KO2s on 18s, but a buddy of mine pretty much has your exact FX4 truck except with the ecoboost and runs 33 inch nittos on those exact wheels. Truck has a great stance and...

    2013 F150 FX4 (Big Blue)

I've never had Thrush on any of my trucks, just Flowmaster and MBRP. I have heard of people just removing the resonator, though. That said, I think I got the MBRP kit for well below $500 and it's a pretty painless install.

    2013 F150 FX4 (Big Blue)

Personally, I run the MBRP single inlet/dual outlet exhaust system on my F150. It gives a nice performance sound with minimal drone. It's not very loud at low rpms so it wouldn't be very obnoxious on trails. That said, I'd be interested to see what other folks have gone with. Great looking...

    2013 F150 Ecoboost Build

There doesn't seem to be much in the way of true rock sliders specifically made for the F150 screw, but a company called unlimited chassis does make some universal ones of varying lengths. You'd have to fab up your own mounts with them, though. Great looking FX4!

    1998 Ford F250 light duty

They made those 7-luggers until at least the 2009-2014 body style. Don't know if they kept the option with the aluminum bodied trucks. Really interesting to see people building them up!

That's an awesome bumper design.. Looks great on that old Bronco. Great build.

    97 GMC Suburban build

Barn doors are where it's at! You've def got a solid foundation to build on.

    97 GMC Suburban build

With the SAS I'd say you could put more heavy duty coils or leaf springs in the front to handle the 12v. I'm basing this on what I've seen when people have swapped in a 7.3L powerstroke into a bronco, usually has required taking the dana 60 and leafs to handle the added weight (don't know how...

    97 GMC Suburban build

I would think the lifted IFS would be fine for off-roading, overlanding, trail riding, etc. The main benefit I see for going to a SAS is to better handle the weight of the 5.9 cummins. That said, I would compare the weight of the 5.9 to the 6.5 diesel that GM used in the 90s. If the weight is...

    2006 F150 Tire Size Question...

I know there is a 3" leveling kit out there, but I've never heard anyone recommend it on these trucks after years on the Ford forums. The 2" and 2.5" kits are what people usually go with to fit a 33' inch tire. Personally, I went with the Rancho coilovers, which lifted the front end 2.5"...

Coffee and Rigs meet in KY

Obviously I wasn't able to end up making it as I didn't get back from my hunting trip/vacation in time, but I hope everyone had a great time. Catch you all on the next one!
