I think the rally event Forum should be designated for larger trips with larger groups of people. Verses having meetups for local events being posted in the rally event section is there any way to come up with a way to separate local meet-ups from the rally event forum?

Is it possible to come up with a system to erase expired rally events automatically after they've passed their date to keeping rally vents that are still posted current so that you don't have to search through expired events? And separating local meetups from rally events would be a better idea!
