If we start planning early, I bet we could make it happen. Need to decide if we are going to camp on site at the expo, how many days and how long to plan for the trip there/back.

I'd love to do the AZBDR Toying with the idea of either doing the trail instead of the Expo, or making the Expo a few day stop in the middle of the trip... Nothing certain yet

Eventful is an understatement... Lol It certainly was a good time and I agree, our overland rigs certainly held their own. Good times!

The last meetup I went to, I was the only one that showed... I was thinking about creating a new rally point on the north side of Phoenix, a little way out of town. I figured we could actually get off pavement for a meetup. Any thoughts or interest?

If you are suggesting carrying an inner-tube instead of a 2nd spare, I think its a great idea. Cutting down on weight is always on my mind when loading up the rig. With that said, I will always carry at least one full sized spare. Spending most of my time on pavement with full tire pressure...
