Yeah so I had a few design considerations when I ripped the back seat out.
We needed to have a space for the dog, a space for recovery / emergency gear, it needed to be flat, and it needed to look good ish.

I removed my back seat and made an upholster sleeping platform and have a hatch where the spare tire was that is filled with tools, recovery gear, and emergency supply's.

I think ill plan on welding up some sliders after seeing how yours are attached.
I can weld aluminum, I just didn't for this first setup so I can take it apart and change thing around.

Well this is disappointing a little bit. As I make attempts to waterproof my 2012 Outback I see it has rear vents on both sides which I assume are to aid in closing the doors. Do you think it's worth it to take off the panels, remove the vents and seal them up from the outside?

My local steel yard sells them but if you search Amazon for "Spring Clips" "Tent Pole Clips" or "Snap Button Clip" you will start to pull them up. Also Mcmaster Carr with likely have them as well.
Got this guy installed today, had to make up some brackets cause the ones it came with were just a little too tall and wide cause at 42" the light just barely fits.
Any suggestions on how to make entry with the wire?
