Installed some Apex Overland Recovery Points....I like how they are almost not noticeable but also how the red pops... Hopefully will never need them but nice to know they are there.
Finally got around to ordering and installing the lift, tires, and roof rack and panhard correction kit! Ironman FCP Stage 2 (3/2), new 285/70's, and a new Sherpa Crestone. Did it all in one day (9hrs total) with help from my stepson on the roof rack. Can't wait for new adventures and already...
Added ICS panel and Sequential turn signals to my 4Runner...she's getting there....time for a some suspension work and newer tires....LC just sitting pretty
Finally got around to installing the molle panels nd shelf I bought for the 4Runner. Definitely helps with organizing....now I just need to clean and organize
I don't think they would kill the 4Runner in North America; It, and the Tacoma, bring in so much business (repeat business at that!). I could see this eventually replacing the Sequoia if it does well and eventually gets elongated with the redesign. Land Cruiser was never made in mass either.
I used to love the Prado when I lived in central america. Did everything I ever needed and capable of so much more. I also always loved the Land Cruiser. I'm hoping the blend will go well and if so, in a couple years, I'd consider it definitely. Hand off my rig to my kid and step into one of these.
Added a Rola roof rack....wasn't ready to spend over a grand on a full rack yet. Hoping this lasts me a year or two before that purchase. Need to start researching a decent lift kit next.
Ain't that the truth..... how many times have i dreamt of throwing big money to build some nice toys....then I remember the whole being a "responsible adult" thing... I mean... Ramen Noodles aren't that bad... a month or two will be okay right? lol
Ordered/installed some new tires. Definitely feels better and I think it looks significantly better. Went with the stock size for now as I don't plan on doing too high of a suspension lift and not for a few months. Still needs to be a daily driver, family hauler, and grocery runner (I may happen...
Replaced the overgrown TRD Shift Knob with something a bit more familiar.....the ball is a bit smaller than expected but overall still feels good and matches the rest of the design.
Ordered some AVS In-Channel Vent Visors, some OEDRO floor liners and a bunch of little organizational things for the new 4Runner. Nothing fancy but ....."It Has Begunnnnn"
Took one last picture of our adventures and trips. She served me well but now with a family it's time to move on to something more spacious for the wife and kids
At that age....two days is the max they'll be able to endure without some sort of issue or attitude. The movies and games are good initially but the longer the trip the more risk of developing car sickness...and once the first one gets sick the second will follow shortly. Try to keep their heads...
