Back into the shop. I re did the seam sealer in the drip rails. Some rust, but not that bad. Hopefully this will last as long as the original, since I don’t want to do that again. Thi pictures are of different spots, but show before, during, and after.
It’s almost ready for paint, I just need...
A little putty, and a little paint, and we’ll turn this rig into something it ain’t. Slowly getting the 4Runner looking presentable. It’s really pretty straight for an almost 40 year old vehicle. Just some minor dings, and 1 rust spot. The worst panel was the driver side fender. But I had a...
Testing the waters here. I have a 1980 Toyota shot bed 4x4 pickup, just under 99,000 original miles. 4.56 gears, and a Spartan locker done by Yotamasters here in So-Cal. Lots of other upgrades as well. Different camper shells, and wheels available at different prices.Asking $9500 located in...

I lost my good pictures of my 4Runner, and all I have are the recovery pics. It got towed out of coyote flats between 2 of its younger cousins, and is still not running.
“Cactus Ed” was quite a character, and he had some great adventures. In his book Abbey’s Road, (I think) is a story of him driving a rental car across the Australian Outback. A great read!
