NJ here as well - definitely down for any meetups or trail rides. Planning a TNJT ride once this quarantine is lifted and camping along the way. I’ll stay tuned for updates on a rigs and coffee, too.
@diabetiktaco maybe I’ll see you fishing at IBSP sometime I’m always trying to chase the...
How did you mount the CB and HAM mic’s? Did you drill right into the head unit and are those magnetic mic mounts?
Also - are you running a dual battery setup? Haven’t seen any pics or mentions, but curious if it’s needed for the instant power switch.
Thanks!
Just thought I would share - didn’t want to replace wheels just yet so I dipped them, and my running boards until sliders are bought. Might hang on to the wheels for a bit now!
Thanks for the note, this sounds just like my situation and I although I do miss my Jeep the ride in the 4runner already far exceeds the power and comfort. I had an AEV 2.5 on the JK, so I am anxious to put some better and more responsive shocks under the 4runner. Dobinsons sounds like a really...
What made you decide to go with the Dbinsns Lift? I just sold my Jeep jk and bought a 4runner and I’m researching lifts, but I’m having a tough time deciding.
Great looking 4runner!
I did some really tough negotiating and offered my Jeep as a trade in to get myself in this 4Runner. I know exactly what you mean - I really like the look of the Tacoma’s as well, but it didn’t solve my interior space issue . Hope you find some luck soon and end up in the drivers seat of that...
Exactly my thought and reason for buying. I was going to touch it up with a spray can, but ended up selling the Jeep. I was actually going to remove it and transfer it to my new rig, but again it was so cheap I’ll just buy another and not think twice about it.
I had an amazon light bar on my Jeep for 4 years. The powder coating came off a little bit in the end, but it was REALLY bright. I had a-pillar lights from Rigid that I barely used as they weren’t needed thanks to that light bar. It was $40 and for that price I have no problem running it and...
Yeah - already ordered black emblem overlays, and I have a lot of stuff I pulled off my Jeep before selling. Going to save up to do mods the right way and would really like to start with spod & lights. Then tires/wheels & lift
Which rock sliders did you end up going with. I am trying to build on a budget also and can’t find a great pair that are affordable, they’re an expensive upgrade next to bumpers.
Jeep looks great, I don’t see anything to not be proud of from here!
