Just wanted to put this here so it's on everyone's radar!

I got lucky, I paid $1000 for the Cherokee, most expensive thing on it is wheels and tires, about $1500 for KO2's on some cheap steelies.
Overall I'm probably $4k to $5k for the whole thing.
I consider my rig "budget" because I haven't got a name brand lift or any aftermarket bumpers/armor... YET...
Most of the goodies I've added are from Amazon, 4Wheel Parts, Autozone and some army surplus gadgets. Nothing has given me any major issues, and anything that has, there's usually a...
Great write-up! Thanks for taking the time to do the research and put it up for everyone to learn from. It makes me want to purchase a locking box for any of these states I may be travelling through that require it. The Utah CCW is reciprocated in quite a few states, but for those that don't...
I've been using Gaia lately but have yet to pay for the subscription. Lately, the best thing I've found is to use Google/mymaps to make my route into a KML file, download it, then import it to my phone and tablet using an app called Backcountry Navigator. It is impeccable and very easy to use...
The last thing I bought for the rig was wheel hubs and extended brake lines, but after my last trip it looks like I'll buying control arms, upper and lower! The front end is ready for it.
I just got back from an awesome trip to Southern Utah chasing turkeys, it made me want to jump right in to planning the next one!
The rig ran great the whole trip, I put about 800 miles on it without a hiccup, but the front end needs some bushing love, possibly upgraded CA's... Mr. Wobbly...

The far left slide will be compartment/ slide-out table combined. The middle and the right side will be regular drawers, with placement for my dual...
They are just PC fans, 12V DC obviously. I did wire them in tandem with the compressor itself so they only turn on when the compressor is in use. They work really well, and like I said, they cut down the temps to the point where it's not so scalding after inflating four tires.
A couple weeks ago I installed some LED's into the rear hatch door. The mounted up easy and I wired them into the rear cargo light so they only turn on when I open the hatch.
I plan on doing a YouTube video about it all, soon!
