Bought in 2016 from Voodoo. The come from the infamous batch of 'bad powdercoating' that Voodoo didn't wish to be responsible for. After numerous emails to VF and some petty douchey responses from VF, I just kept using even though they began to rust 2 months after getting. Fast forward to today...

Yea, no doubt, still doesn't resolve the customer service issue and quality issue after 4 months. I am going to be replacing these racks soon anyway.

Year 2, the rust on the inside of the cross bars is the worst, as can be expected when powder coating an interior enclosed area. Unfortunately, recoating these is not cheap. Glad they resolved for others but does nothing for those of us with crap coating and facing replacement cost.

Funny you say that... We thought about it, hard, but it is a bit of a departure from our bag company overall. I think selling kits might be a good idea, but then again, you could buy all the parts off of 80/20 yourself without any markup. It would be nice to have an econo option in the market...

What is the resolution to the rust problem? I have never had a reply to my email - it started after 4 months and I need to basically strip and powder coat, which as you know is not an easy task. I hope this got resolved but it sucks for those of us that are dealing with it.
