Central MS here and always up for a trip. Went over to Barnwell Mountain Recreation area in Gilmer, TX last weekend. While not exactly an overloading trip, we had a blast hitting the trails and doing some rock crawling.

Definitely a fair and valid point, and something everyone should consider before using them. For me, after installing them, the tent will be either hanging in my garage or in use, so I am not too worried about it.

Hello, I am new to the overland bound world! looking forward to conversation and adventures. I have been off roading most of my life, mostly different jeeps and trucks. My Current Rig is a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Unlimited, always adding and modding.

I was thinking about doing the same thing, utilizing some 80/20 Extrusions or something similar mounted on the under side of my tube roof rack. Does anyone have the overall height of the assembled bracket( from the mounting surface of the bottom bracket to the bottom of the tent rails)?
