So I had looked into these for my Tundra as well. As far as I can tell, they are just fancy nerf bars and don’t really offer any support from the underside. I’d be willing to bed they would fold in half if the truck were to high center on some rocks or whatnot.

This looks great! I've been considering something similar on mine as well, would like to try to keep it a lower profile. The vibration dampening clamps are key! Nice find on those!
