If there's rain, parts of it may be "impassible" especially section 6 South of Cuba, I"ll see if they can get it Paved before we go

I don't know the actual miles of dirt. I know some of it is paved, I could see that from the Google Earth view. I'm guessing 90% is dirt.

Technically, this route is for ADV type "Dual-Sport" bikes. So this is a more difficult section and there is a bypass. The notes on the website says it has ledges. We'll find out for sure when we get there :)

I don't have a CB, but have a couple of hand held FSR's they do a pretty decent job within a mile or so. I also have a Garmin Inreach so I can text the wife and it has an SOS button with the SHTF.
