    I had a couple things come up, so I've pushed it back a couple weeks. Now planning to depart on the 24th. But yeah, I've been down in Carlsbad area for the last few months now. Always looking for some company on the trail!

    Yeah, I'd definitely be interested in your Baja maps/insight! I have a HAM, but I'm not yet a licensed operator.

    I did Alaska 9 months ago, it was epic. 10,000 miles, 40 days/40 nights. Primitive camping the entire route. Epic is actually an understatement. Baja is my next big venture I've been planning. I'm working on plotting a loose course, and have been upgrading a few things on my truck as well...

    Yeah, I hear ya. I'm new to this online thing as well. But not new to overlanding. So was hoping to meet some people to adventure with rather than just by myself, as per usual.

    Beautiful shot. I went out to the AB for the first time a couple months ago, what a stunning place. I want to explore further south as well. There's the remains of an old railway in the desert canyons down towards the Mexican border that I think would make for some really stunning photos.
