Just wondering if Overlandbound will have a booth at Overland Expo East this year (2021). If there is one and you need volunteers, I'm willing to be a volunteer. I'm getting there Thursday October 7th roughly around 8am, so I can help set-up the tent and displays.

I haven't really explored lake placid area yet but if you youtube search overlanding lake placid, some good videos show up. It is more dirt roads and not trails but it could be up your alley with the family.

This is what I did with my 15 JKU. It has made a huge difference in packing for a trip. We went out to Yellowstone from Buffalo,NY this past September. It was great having cold food that wasn't water logged from ice melt.

Yes and no, for just one spot you can get lucky and find one. For multiple spots it is pretty hard since most places close mid September to tent campers. Plus with NYS hunting season starting soon, it would be hard to find any primitive campsites in NY.
